- Tokinoka White Oak Japanese Blended Whisky is a wonderful blended Japanese Whisky from the White Oak Distillery in Akashi. Tokinoka means “fragrance of time”. White Oak Tokinoka Japanese Whisky itself is a beautifully balanced blend of about 25% grain and 75% single malt. Tasting notes: Nose: The nose is very fruity with apricots and dried fruits and a shy note of honey. Palate: A slightly oily texture gives it body and overcomes its lack of complexity. On the palate flavors of dried fruit and apricot are still present and confirm the nose. Finish: A short and smooth final with the honey notes back again. 500ml, 40% ABV
