1910s surface mount pan!

- DescriptionI’m very pleased to offer this striking 1910s pan-style flush mounted ceiling light with glass shades!WOW!Pan-style fixtures were wildly popular from about 1910 to 1935 and were used in all style homes. This fixture is mostly brass, and with a fine patina. The ceiling mount is steel, and its original finish was in poor shape. I refinished this in champagne gold. I very much like the combination of the dark brass against the painted ceiling mount. And the arms! Fabulous! They are so…curvaceous! I love looking at them.Scale-wise the fixture is ideal for a small bedroom, or smaller dining room. It’s almost 23-inches long, and almost 15-inches wide. The wiring is all new, and cloth-covered like the original. Nice. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included). Clear Edison-style LED bulbs would look well. COLOR: See above. SIZE: See above. As well, the fitters are 2-1/4-inches. CONDITION: One shade has 3 small chips on the bottom rim (one is very small). These are not on the bottom edge, but on the side. The chips are not deep but have removed the frosted finish. The painted finish, as noted, is new. The round ceiling mount has some dents and dings. These are had to notice with the fixture 8 or more feet up in the air. The sockets are original (and in fine shape) with new wiring and paper insulators. SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!
